We mixed this dangerously hot pepper with Black Lava Hawaiian sea salt to give it a unique flavor that will blend nicely with your favorite spicy food dish.
Making this salt was a labor of love and pain. In our new commercial kitchen, we crushed the dried Reaper peppers. We learned that when dried Reaper pepper gets into in the air it is like being hit in the face with tear gas. We had to wear a Scuba mask, face mask, gloves and turn on plenty of ventilation. This salt is definitely not for the faint of heart!
Then came the taste test. This salt will make your lips numb and feel like you can spit fire like a dragon. It is truly invigorating!
What should you use this extremely spicy Fear the Reaper Salt™ on? It adds fiery heat to Chili, tacos, nachos, spicy fries, hot wings, popcorn and anything with cheese. A local chef even used it to create a spicy hamburger called 'The Reaper Burger." Delicious!
